That's insane. After being told it wasn't out 10 minutes ago, I've now ordered one via upgrades. Same deal as above. Should arrive tomorrow.

Just got off the phone myself and got my pac number instead!!!
They won't budge on price as the phone is less than 3 months old, (well it would have been if it came out when it was supposed to!) It's only free on a £45 pcm tarriff. 1200 mins 1000 txts 1 bolt on Not very good considering what you can get from other carriers!!!!! I think the iPhone has killed o2 and what is needed is an o2 killer not an iPhone killer!! bye-z-bye o2 |

So it's now confirmed 100% that it's available on the upgrades line.... Fantastic!

hmmmmmmmm im getting conflicting information, ive just phoned customer services and upgrades and have been told mid-september, and then the 7th september, so someone isnt telling the truth.

On order, same costs as everyone else got. The lady initially said it wasn't released but i mentioned i'd seen people getting it this morning and she disappeared for five mins before coming back and saying yes indeed i could order it, her system hadn't been updated that's all. Looking forward to talking with you all over the next few days ref our thoughts on the handset, not our thoughts on when it's released!

After all these months of waiting im having conflicting thoughts.
If i get a Hero through Dialaphone the cost over 18 months is £527 If i get a samsung on O2 the cost over 18 months is £727 £200 difference. |

Just got off the phone - apparently they are simply waiting on pricing information to come through.
I've been told (drum roll please!) to phone back later on this afternoon! |

ORDERED! Spoke to upgrades and lady I spoke to found it on the system. Best contract they would do is the same as other posters (£35pm, 600m 100txt free web).
Been told delivery in next 1-2 working days - Hopefully will be tomorrow

Do some insisting that they check and you'll probably get one. I'm quite excited for mine to arrive!

Well my black Hero cost about £30, 200 Texts, 300 Mins and unlimited net and its with Tmobile.... so TCO is £439.11 as its a 12 month contract with the view there will be further handsets out. As much as I wanted the Galaxy this is actually cheaper for me than the O2 contract with a discount....
I was offered the Galaxy for £97 on the following price plan: Cost per month: £34.26 Mins: 600 Texts: 1000 Inclusive bolt on: Unlimited Web Bolt On There was no movement on price of handset or tariff. this may be a bit redundant now, but my friend who works for O2 said the same thing you are saying.
The Galaxy is accredited and should be available mid-september (although in the txt he sent said mid-august  )
I haven't heard back from him on pricing plans or upgrades, but it seems a bit early to be thinking about that yet. |

this is getting quite funny, ive phoned a second time and been met with the same response, they have no knowledge of it on their systems and cannot offer me a date for when it will be out. The only thing i can do is ask which number you all called to order yours.

That's odd. I called 0870 241 0202 and pressed the buttons to go through to upgrades. It is available, ask them to keep checking. Good luck. |

this is frustrating. Despite being the first person to have it offered to me, when i phoned back to take up the offer i was told that this was a mistake and that the phone is definitly not available!!!
I went off to a meeting and so thought i woulda left the forum in a storm at me with misinformation, so am really shocked to see other people are getting it. Gonna phone them again now lol |
