My laptop runs with linux and my 02 dongle will not work - does anyone know how to solve this problem or is this impossible?

Works fine with Linux.
What flavour of Linux and what version of that flavour? What mobile broadband product, pay&go or contract (Novatel 930d or Huawei E160)? Novatel have instructions on their site, not sure about Huawei off the top of my head. EDIT: http://forum.o2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=8145 thread with links to Novatel instructions. There are other threads devoted to this also. |

Should work, but I don't think it's plug and play on the Acer (their Linux installation is a bit less "sorted" than the one on the Asus EEE's), but the device does have a working linux kernel driver, and connects via standard PPP.

The general linux install instructions linked to should work if you have the Novatel 930d (which you should as you are on pay monthly, its black).
Don't have access to anything with Linpus Lite on it so can't confirm. |

O2 do not support this OS so will be unable to help you. The OS's supported are listed in the requirements for the product. You'd be best asking for help in forums for the OS or device.

That worked for me! Steve |
